2003 – SubWARtising – Tittle is a subversion of the words: “subvertising” and “war”. Made to illustrate and criticise the 2nd Gulf War in Iraq. “Wanted Dead or Alive – The Biggest Threat For All Mankind” – representative of George Bush’s attitude towards the opinon and influence (mostly) of other politicians involved in what would become know as The 2nd Gulf War. Please note that it is part of my own graphic style to color in grayscale all those who do not show their “true colors” (real intentions). Software: 100% Photoshop. Click the image to enlarge.

2003 – SubWARtising – “Indiana Bush And The Iraq Crusade” – George Bush and George Bush senior (both involved in 2nd and 1st Gulf Wars respectively) as Indiana Jones and Henry Jones. Tony Blair as their ally Marcus Brody and Saddam (leader of the Iraqi military forces in the war) is here representative of the film’s German army. Software: 100% Photoshop. 2003 – SubWARtising – “The Super War Bros” – Based in the video game of Super Mario Brothers. All images were scanned from the manual of Super Mario Land 2 game for the 1st edition of Game Boy portable console.
