About me:
Generally speaking: I am not a good girl or bad girl…nor do I claim to be either since I could be both. I am cool but I don’t try to charm people, I don’t play games, I say what I do and I do what I say, and I don’t make or take promises lightly. I’m way past all that. Take me how I am or don’t…I could care less unless you give me a reason to care what you think. If you can’t handle a cynical, sarcastic lady who sometimes has an acerbic way of speaking…you might not want to talk to me. I have a goofy sense of humor that I put on for show until I get to know someone and then they get to see the more serious side of me (mostly because some people can’t handle it). I love rock music, metal, blues and industrial music, sci-fi shows and movies, the colors blue, black, white (yeah, duh), green, red, and brown, and I find human stupidity to be the most annoying disease humanity could find itself afflicted with that we will never find a cure for. I’m an intelligent woman that is told she’s attractive (maybe they’re just being nice…I don’t know) and has her act together. I have a good job at the moment, ambitions, goals, don’t do drugs or have baggage, and I’m currently single. If that’s not enough to interest someone then that’s not my problem.

My name is Inês Rodrigues and THIS is my portfolio.
The portfolio you are looking at is WordPress CMS (Content Management System) based website. It means that I am not a web developer. I am not able to build web applications like back-ends from the scratch. However, I am able to edit existing ones. For example: WordPress, Joomla! and osCommerce. And I guess that it is far too good for someone whose work is all about image.
That’s right, my work is all about image. I am a graduated graphic designer with some web and 3D designing skills. My work is publicity/advertisements for print and press of all types; corporate image projects like logos, stationeries, catalogues…; image manipulation; photography; web publicity; website layouts and 3D modeling. I use to call myself Workaholic Designing Beast because of my professional experience. However, this does not mean that I am made of stone. I am just not easy to impress since I am one of those who is usually a bit more mature than what seems to be.

Designer gráfica desde 2004, designer 3D desde 2004 e webdesigner desde 2005.
A experiência profissional já é um pouco vasta. Desde simples catálogos em 2003 a projectos de imagem corporativa e ainda de publicidade de alto nível em Londres durante o ano de 2007.
O ponto mais alto da minha carreira até ao momento foi o facto de ter atraído cerca de 1/4 de milhão de libras/mês à empresa One Call Local, em Wandsworth – London SW18 para a qual trabalhei desde o início de Março até ao final de Setembro de 2007.
Por essa altura, a decisão do manager desta empresa em transformar o negócio de construção civil e design de interiores em cadeia de lojas em franchising esteve na base da minha decisão em abandonar o projecto. Regressei a Lisboa no passado dia 5 de Outubro de 2007.
Desde Janeiro de 2008 trabalho para a uma empresa de marketing publicitário e merchandising localizada em Miraflores – Concelho de Algés.
A minha função, para além de web designer (tendo a meu cargo a manutenção e actualização/desenvolvimento dos cinco sites da empresa – o oficial e ainda outros correspondentes às marcas registadas da mesma empresa) também passa pelo design gráfico, que é a minha área de especialidade por formação, adaptando imagem publicitária/corporativa aos vários suportes e merchandising utilizado os vários softwares da Adobe e também ao 3D sempre que necessário.
